Workshop: "The Integration of Muslim-American Youth: Preserving Islamic Identity Amidst Religious Diversity"
Rationale: The burgeoning Muslim population in the United States has presented educational dilemmas for the emerging Muslim demographic. Concerns arise as parents witness their progeny assimilating into Western culture, potentially distancing themselves from the authentic practice of Islam. The objective of this workshop is to foster an extensive discourse among scholars, community leaders, and stakeholders on the genuine issues, obstacles, and potential remedies.
The proceedings, discussions, and outcomes will be featured in a dedicated special issue of the journal.
