The Crown Center will determine the level based on the candidate’s rank or equivalent rank as of the application deadline. Fringe benefits, when not provided by the scholar’s home institution, can be made available during the appointment period.

Fellows are required to be in residence at the Crown Center during the tenure of the fellowship and not hold any teaching or service responsibilities outside of the Center.
